Professional Pics of Anna

My good friend lives in Tremont and has her own photography business. Anna was feeling shy that day, but she got some good shots. I have looked at all the pictures that Jenny takes and her portfolios are amazing. She is very reasonable and great to work with. She also did our little friend Kailee's pictures. If anyone wants info on how to contact Simply Charming Photography, please let me know. I will post a link to her website as soon as she completes it. Jenny takes a lot of children, senior pictures, babies and families. Some of her cutest are of a one year old eating birthday cake. She creates story boards and they are just adorable. I can't wait to get my pictures. I took forever deciding, but they should be in soon. My favorite is the one of Anna with the chair. I miss having Jenny here in my town, but I am so happy that she has her own business now and can still stay home with her children.

You can click on each picture to make them larger and see just how crisp and clear the photos that she takes is. I ordered some of mine in black and white because I always like the way they look.

Zoo Time

It was a beautiful day and coller, so we headed to the Zoo! The funny part was when we saw the turtles mating and also when the goat attacked Logan to get to the food!

Anna's new bed!

Yes, that is Anna somewhere in that big bed!It seems HUGE in her tiny 10x10 room. It is very squishy and tall. She needs a step stool to get on the bed, but so far she likes it. She went down for a nap perfectly, as usual. Barry might make her a head board and I still need to decide about the comforter. A friend gave us the flower comforter that her daughter wasn't using, but I still think that I want a more plain one that will go better with her asian fabric. So, for now, it is a work in progress. I tried to tell her that when big girls get new beds, they stop sucking their fingers at bedtime. As you can see, it did not work!

Bye-Bye Toddler Bed!

BOO HOOO! Anna is a big girl now and last night was the last time in her little toddler bed! I made her a quilt (with the help of my neighbor) with adorable asian fabric before we met Anna, so I would still like to use it somehow. Plus I made another blanket, too, and a storage box and my mom also made the valance. I might have my neighbor help me make a bigger comforter or something or I think I can find a pink one at Target.

Logan at Camp Drake

We visited Logan last night at Camp Drake. He is having a blast. We got a full tour of the place and went on a long hike. Logan said he misses us a lot and we sure got some hugs while we were there. It was nice seeing where he is staying. Apparently, his tent was SUPER messy and then he and his tent mate cleaned it up. They got an award for the most improved and he is the proud owner of a new pocket knife. We thought that the camp was quite nice and had a lot of beautiful scenery. The troop has their own spot off by themselves where they stay. The leaders and boys seemed very well organized and Logan was having a lot of fun. He will get back into town on Saturday morning.
