Barry and I took a last minute trip to Vegas. Here are some pics off my phone.

Fire pit time

Brandon wanted to build a fire pit and the weather has been perfect for it! So...Barry and Brandon made it on Saturday and hot dogs and s'mores followed, of course.

Lemon Shake ups

When you are part of a show choir, that means lemon shake up time!! We ALL worked at the Celebration. My parents sat at gates, Brandon worked shake ups (see picture) for Logan and Barry and I of course did shake ups, money and gates. A photographer took

Anna's room

My mom got a new bed so she gave Anna the one from their spare room. Anna really wanted a queen size...mostly so more of her stuffed animals could sleep in her bed. Gettin beds always requires cleaning out, getting rid of things we don't use and need.

A friend's family had a family member whose house burnt completely down so it was a good opportunity to bless someone else with clothes and things we didn't need.

Anna decided to keep her twin bed in her room for now. She must be
hoping to have a big sleepover soon.

Feels good to have gutted the room and cleaned!

Vacation to Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan

Had a wonderful time again in Gulf Shores. We rented both sides of a house for 17 Schmidt's.

Swimming

In July, we all went swimming. Barry tried to teach the boys how to back dive like their sister. Brandon got it and was pretty good. Not sure of Logan will ever get it. LOL. My dad did a back flip. It was awesome!

LOgan babysits

Sometimes I need a sitter and Logan is perfect. This is how I found Anna one day. Yep...his undies on her head!!

Anna's friends visit

Anna spent the night at Carly'S and Karli visited, too. Then Michelle brought the girls here to swim at the grandparents pool. Fun day.

Happy 4th!

Too hot this week. Temps were 103-104. I worked Blue Ribbon Days for Show Choir on July 3 and was out in it for 8.5 hrs. I felt I'll afterwards. I was!
It has been a very hot and dry Summer. Thank goodness for the pool.

Adding out dessert on the 4th a d also a picture of Anna. She really loves herself these days. It is great to see such a happy go lucky girl and has such energy and love for all things. She loves doing her hair these days and picking out her clothes, etc. she is a stitch. She had such a great personality.

Wish the boys would let me take more pics of them....but they are teenage boys,soooo.....

Springfield

We went to Springfield yesterday. We headed to the Zoo first since we had never been there. We had a picnic next and finished up at Sheels. Anna and Brandon rode the ferris wheel there and also bowled 10 frames. It was a fun day.

Show Choir Camp

Brandon attended Show Choir Camps of America for a week. He didn't sleep there, though. He had a blast and is ready to go again. He had a solo in his show and did awesome. He really came out of his shell! Way to go B! He also got numerous phone numbers and is constantly texting Gianna from Wheaton.
