New York City

No clue why the collages are where they are, but you can click on each to make larger. New York City was fun and exhausting. It was a neat trip to do, but I am so glad that the grandparents kept Anna at home. It was NOT a place for her. We literally started walking at 9am and never stopped Saturday or Sunday much before midnight. We crammed a lot in and had a lot of fun with the Bowlings and others who went. We went to the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Wallstreet/the Bull, Trinity Church, 9/11 Memorial. We had a water taxi around the Statue of Liberty. We went to Hell's kitchen area, the Cake Boss Cafe, Times Square (hotel was there), rode the subway numerous times, saw NEWSIES (which was phenomenol). I am sure I am forgetting many places, but we saw a ton. Oh..and Central Park. That was neat. It is quite large and we only went to one part of it. We walked and walked and walked....for hours and hours and hours. By the time we went back to the hotel at night to meet up with Brandon, we were utterly exhausted. Brandon was able to do all of the high schooler type things and was with the kids the entire trip, other than flying and sleeping. The competition was Friday and Logan was named Best Male Soloist. His girlfriend was a favorite performer or something like that. And Swings got Grand Champions. Les Femmes also won Grand Champs of their division. The combo won Best Combo. The boys were thrilled with the day. We head to Nationals in Chicago in April.
