Li River Cruise

Monday in Guilin and Yangshuo. 

The beautiful mountains here are Karst mountains and they are made of limestone, just like in Kentucky.  

300 million years to form the karst mountains. The area used to be a sea. Lots of caverns and caves here. Could be as tall as a cathedral. 

We boarded a boat in Guilin and traveled to Yangshuo. The views were stunning. These pics taken on my phone don't do it justice.

Barry got some stunning pictures of the Impressions of San Jie of Liu. It was fascinating and so beautiful. The director of it is the director for the Olympics when they were held in Beijing.
